Make sure that you have speakers or headphones plugged into the CD ROM drives. Audio sound is different from computer data and goes through a different connector than the SCSI cable. You can run a audio cable from the external CD ROM drives and play through your sound card with most sound cards - it's best to check with the sound card manufacturer as to which ones can do this.
Was your original CD ROM drive also a SCSI drive? If so, check the CONFIG.SYS to make sure that the driver did not get remarked out when CD Mounter Plus was installed.
The CD Mounter Plus software is perfectly capable of handling these extended format CD's but not all CD ROM drives are always capable of handling these formats. If you are having a problem with some of the extended format CD's then you might want to call the CD ROM drive manufacturer to see if there have been any known problems with the drive. Sometimes they release firmware updates to take care of known problems.
Make sure the ASPI Manager that came with your SCSI host card is installed in your CONFIG.SYS. After the ASPI manager there should be a line for CDASPI.SYS:
DEVICE=C:\CDMPLUS\CDASPI.SYS /D:CDMP001
The ASPI Manager is a driver that comes with your SCSI host card, usually on the floppy disk that came with your SCSI host card. If you can't find it, then you should contact the manufacturer of the SCSI host card and ask for a copy of the ASPI Manager for your card.If you are using Windows 95 and you have no ASPI manager that can be installed through the CONFIG.SYS then it may be better to uninstall our software and use Windows 95's 'Install New Hardware' feature. This works in a lot of cases.
