1. My CD disk doesn't mount on the desktop.
Make sure that the driver is loading at bootup time. When the CD-ROM extension is loading, it will give a CD icon with a little number in the upper right hand corner for all CD drives that it encounters that the driver supports. Our current drive support list is available. If you have a new drive that is in our list, but you have an older version of our software, than you will need to upgrade at our upgrade page.
CD Mounter Plus only supports SCSI drives. We will be adding IDE support to CD/DVD Drive TuneUp.
2. I am having problems with the game Warcraft II.
You will need version 3.2.4 or later of our software. Visit our upgrade page.
3. Why can't I hear any sound from my audio CD's?
When playing an audio CD in an external CD drive, you will need to have speakers connected to that device. Make sure that you have speakers or headphones plugged in to the CD-ROM drives. Audio sound is different from computer data and goes through a different connector than the SCSI cable.
4. Can I play my CD plus or I-Trax CD's?
Our software is perfectly capable of handling these extended format CD's but not all CD-ROM drives are. If you are having a problem with some of the extended format CD's then you might want to call the CD-ROM drive manufacturer to see if there have been updates to the hardware.
