  • Here & Now's extension mapping now lets you assign file attributes for files migrating both to and from your PC. In addition to automatically adding the appropriate three-character DOS application extensions to Macintosh filenames as they are transferred to your PC, Here & Now adds the appropriate Macintosh file type and creator to files being transferred from your PC back to a Macintosh.
Increased File Accessibility

ReadDVD! is the utility needed to access any UDF formatted media

“UDF” stands for “Universal Disk Format” and file system. (A file system is the method information on a storage device is organized, written, updated and retrieved). Originally specified for DVD, the UDF format is fast becoming the new international format standard for all types of storage devices because it can handle larger and more complicated files and it helps ensures that disks can be interchangeable with all types of computer systems, on large storage devices and consumer digital appliances. There are currently various versions of UDF used in the market.

  • V1.0.2 - Basic file system as used by DVD video players (ie rental movies)
  • V1.5 - Support for CD-R and CD-RW drives and media
  • V2.0 - Support for NT streaming.
