Available Now -- Click Fast & Easy Recorded File Conversion Version 1.2 provides everything a user needs to download, convert and use video files recorded from DVD video recorders and camcorders on a PC running MS Windows™. Powerful and Easy to Use GreatVideo! performs “drag & drop” conversion of “VR” format DVD video recording files to 21 industry standard video file formats, including Sorenson, Motion JPEG and Intel Indeo Video. (VR is the common name for .VRO files, the format specified by the DVD Forum for recording video onto DVD discs.) Until now, converting video files recorded on DVD camcorders and video recorders into PC friendly formats used by most video editing and authoring applications has been a problem. The Windows UDF file system reader does not support VR formats. Advanced Features Advanced features include selecting the compression rate, number of key frames per second, bit rate, and color as allowed by specific formats. The software can also quickly erase the disk so that it can be immediately re-used in the camcorder or video recorder. Compliant with Industry Standards GreatVideo! is compliant with DVD Forum specifications for Real Time Recording DVD Video Files (VR video files), and the OSTA(Optical Storage Technology Association) specifications for UDF formats.
