Bothell WA,…Software Architects, Inc. is announcing the release of Version 3 of the popular desktop utility, DOS Mounter, at this week’s MacWorld Expo in San Francisco (South Hall Booth #313).
DOS Mounter is the most comprehensive file interchange utility available today supporting hundreds of devices, all storage device protocols for Macintosh computers (FireWire, USB, SCSI, ATAPI and ATA), and support for Mac OS 9.
DOS Mounter v. 3 Features
Seamless Access to Windows/DOS files mounted on your Mac. DOS Mounter can mount volumes as large as 9 GB.
Digital Camera/PC Card Mounting. DOS Mounter now comes with the ability to mount digital camera PC card readers on your Macintosh.
Digital Image Enhancement. As a special addition, DOS Mounter is being bundled with version 1.0 of SAI’s new digital image enhancement program, Great Photo!™. Great Photo! gives you fast and easy image access with a special Great Photo! browser, fast and easy enhancement with state of the art color manipulation and photo processing tools all of which result in better pictures for use on web sites or higher end printing.
Data Integrity with data transfer. DOS Mounter provides the highest level of data integrity with file transfer operations eliminating the danger of data loss.
Industry Leading Support
DOS Mounter’s universal drivers for SCSI, ATATI or ATA, custom USB extensions and FireWire support ensure that you can mount almost every popular storage device including hard drives on your Macintosh.
Bi-directional filename support in DOS Mounter ensures that files returned to the PC environment retain their Windows long filenames and truncate extended filenames to the 31 characters used in Mac OS.
Partitioning and formatting options for creating hybrid disks that can be used on both Mac and Windows platforms.
