Targeted at consumers, this powerful software program provides a patented, “semi-automated” method for quickly and easily enhancing digital photos, and color correcting them to meet the user’s preferences, without having to learn about color theory or the craft of using professional color correction software.

Powerful and Easy to Use
GreatPhoto! Is the quick and easy way to make digital photos look their best. Unlike conventional image editing software, GreatPhoto! provides a naturally intuitive interface that uses a series of knobs that control the color, brightness, saturation, contrast and other attributes of the photo in real time, so the user can quickly explore hundreds of versions of the photo until they find the one most pleasing to their individual taste. GreatPhoto! Is ideal for photo enthusiasts who want to improve the quality of their photos beyond the capabilities of iPhoto™ but are not willing to invest the time and money to learn how to use professional image editing products.

Fast Image Updates to Screen
GreatPhoto’s patented VistaMax™ image enhancement technology presents variations in color, brightness and contrast on your computer screen in “real time”, so fine tuning the desired effects is as easy as turning a knob. GreatPhoto’s virtual knob interface provides easy to controls in the form of a series of dials, each representing attributes of the image in RGB color space.

Adjusts for Lost Color Values
The patented VistaMax™ Color Management System provides users with the ability to automatically add back lost color values that have been “clipped” by adjusting the brightness, contrast, hue or saturation of the image. For example, brightening an image may cause some of the color saturation to be lost in the image. The VistaMax “enhance” dial allows the user to add back in some or all of the lost color saturation while maintaining the adjusted brightness values. This provides better looking images fast and easy.

Advanced Features
In addition to conventional cropping, rotating, “red eye” reduction and “flash burn” reduction, GreatPhoto! features a variety of “filter” layers that can apply any adjustment to the image in graduated amounts from top-to-bottom, bottom-to-top and side-to-side. Layers and other adjustments can be “bookmarked” to temporarily retain the modified image. Using a series of bookmarks allows the user to quickly switch the full size image between bookmarks for comparison purpose. This speeds selection of the most desired effects.
