Product Overview
Disk Drive TuneUp for Windows is everything you need to set up and run an MO drive on your Windows PC.
Disk Drive TuneUp provides drive letter access read/write support and includes a special formatter that provides formatting options for FAT16, FAT 32 and UDF. The software includes the SmartMO!™ device driver, and the Disk Drive TuneUp formatting application.
"Drag & drop" Writing to MO Drives and Hard Disk Drives
Disk Drive TuneUp enables users to treat MO disks like giant floppy disks, or to partition the disk into multiple partitions like a hard disk drive. Reads legacy FAT16 formatted MO media on Windows XP and 2003 Server.
The Universal Format for Reading Discs on Different Operating Systems
Disk Drive TuneUp is ideal for moving large amounts of files on MO media from Windows to Apple Mac OS and Linux OS based systems. By formatting the disks in UDF, the media will be readable on Apple systems and computers running most major Linux distributions.
Users making permanent records to meet regulatory requirements can now use high reliability MO drives as permanent archives with the assurance that the files can be accessed many years into the future, regardless of the operating system used by the computer at the time of recovery.
