Each manufacturer may compress their video recordings in different ways or at different resolutions. Without the correct playback environment to properly de-compress, interpret and display the video file, even the highest resolution HD recordings may look fuzzy or display artifacts that reduce viewing quality.
GreatVideo! HD version1.1 provides a wide variety of video decoding and display parameter settings that allow the user to easily optimize video playback quality for a specific video file. With over 50 combinations of parameter settings to choose from, GreatVideo! For example, selecting de-interlacing option level "6" greatly improves the playback of 1080i HD video recorded on a Casio EX-F1 digicam, whereas optimal playback of a 720p HD video may require de-interlacing to be disabled. Each user can optimize for their specific imaging hardware and video recordings.
