WriteBD! UDF writer for Mac OS 10.4 and 10.5 provides world's first UDF writer for re-writable Blu-ray Disc drives using "drag & drop " writing to disc. The user has the option to format in native HFS or UDF format for reading on other computer systems. Mac OS 10.4 does not support Blu-ray disc drives natively, and 10.5 only supports creating one writing session on BD-R or BD-RE media. WriteBD! provides full, random-access re-writable functionality for BD-RE media.

WriteUDO! enables both Intel and PowerPC based Apple computer systems to format, read and write to disks formatted in any version of the UDF format (Universal Disc Format). Simply drag and drop files to the UDF volume, or save directly from any Mac application. The software supports reading/writing to HDD, MO and DVD-RAM, and reading data from all other recordable DVD media supported by the drive. Ideal for audio and video applications or wherever large file sets need to be shared on different types of computers or between different physical locations.

Simply drag and drop files directly to the "drive letter" interface, or save directly from within an application. By using the special Archive UDF format, files are permanently recorded to the media, including all updates to each file. Even deleted files are available for access. Powerful yet simple to use, the file history is accessible through a special History Browser, from where any previous file version can be recovered.
